Change of pace/place
Meh, so I've taken forever to update my blog. I didn't sign any binding contract in blood that I'd update every other week- it was just a New Year's Resolution, which as we know, are made to be summarily dropped like hot potatoes. Actually, if I had a hot potato, I don't think I'd drop it. I still think that hot potatoes make the best pocket warmers ever- and after you hands are warm/ the potatoe is no longer warm, you can always eat it! That was random...
Anyway. Not that I think anyone reads this blog, but if they do, please note, I am no longer at A, I am now at C, having bypasssed B all together. I can't really think of what B... oh, yes I can. Disregard that. So, what else... My clotheslinable quote for this post is: "Smell your book!" courtesy of Prof. B. (Philosophy)
What else? After I figure out this new RPG I'm joining... my previous experiences while fun, were not this complicated... I miss Alanya, the cashiered, alcoholic, former-military hired gun. She was a bit of a complicated character- personality-wise as opposed to stats wise. Tragic backstory etc, etc. Daniel's character Diego, the thinking man of the team was a nice contrast to her and they interacted surprisingly well for all of...three? sessions. Then things just sort of fell apart. I think part of it had to do with spending what felt like half a session between D and S trying to shoot at each other around/behind a door. The combat sort of dragged...
Other new news... Meredith is hopefully going to be making me a banner for this site! With any luck I'll figure out how it's done and make a couple more along the lines of "Lost and _______" or "_________ and Lost"... we'll see.
